One of the most significant achievements of Türkiye’s defense industry, the T129 ATAK attack helicopter, has officially joined the inventory of the Turkish Land Forces. The delivery was announced by Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries, through his social media account. Manufactured by TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries), the T129 ATAK stands out with its advanced systems and high maneuverability, designed specifically for effective performance in challenging operational environments.
The helicopter is equipped with superior maneuvering capabilities, a powerful weapons integration system, and the ability to operate in diverse weather and terrain conditions. These features make the T129 ATAK highly effective in both attack and reconnaissance missions, providing the Turkish Land Forces with a critical advantage on the modern battlefield.
Following the delivery, İsmail Demir highlighted that the ATAK helicopter significantly strengthens the Turkish Armed Forces, and underlined that additional deliveries are planned in the near future. He also encouraged close public attention to ongoing developments in Türkiye’s defense industry.
