One of Türkiye’s leading defense industry companies, ROKETSAN, has signed major cooperation agreements in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during World Defense Show 2026. As a global manufacturer of missile, rocket, and ammunition systems, the company strengthened its presence in the Gulf region through strategic partnerships with Saudi defense entities.
Within the scope of the agreement, ROKETSAN signed a cooperation deal with SAMI, Saudi Arabia’s largest state-owned defense company, for the joint production of cruise missiles in the Kingdom. This partnership represents a significant step toward expanding bilateral cooperation in missile technologies and advanced military solutions. The agreement aims to facilitate technology transfer, enhance local production capabilities, and support the development of next-generation integrated defense systems.
In addition, ROKETSAN signed another contract with SAMI Land Systems covering the sale and joint production of anti-tank guided missile systems to enhance the operational effectiveness of combat platforms. Beyond procurement, the agreement also focuses on localization efforts and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s domestic defense manufacturing infrastructure.
These agreements highlight the growing international demand for Türkiye’s indigenous missile systems and demonstrate ROKETSAN’s expanding global footprint. The collaboration not only reinforces defense ties between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia but also contributes to long-term strategic industrial cooperation in the region.
