Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat paid a visit to Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), one of Turkey’s leading institutions in defense and technology. During his visit, Minister Bolat closely examined TUSAŞ’s domestically developed aerial platforms and received detailed information about the company’s ongoing projects.
In his social media statement, Minister Bolat highlighted TUSAŞ as a symbol of Turkey’s advancements in the defense industry. “TUSAŞ, which exports its original products and ranks among the world’s top 50 aerospace companies, stands as a global symbol of pride for our nation with its ANKA III, HÜRJET, and national combat aircraft KAAN projects,” Bolat stated.
The visit also focused on TUSAŞ’s growing export activities that enhance its international competitiveness. Bolat emphasized that the increasing defense exports significantly contribute to Turkey’s economy and global presence. He also noted that TUSAŞ’s investments in an innovative technological ecosystem are driving the nation toward greater success in aviation and aerospace.
Minister Bolat was accompanied by Deputy Minister of National Defense and TUSAŞ Vice Chairman Şuay Alpay, TUSAŞ Chairman Ömer Cihad Vardan, and TUSAŞ General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu. The delegation toured the production facilities, observed cutting-edge manufacturing processes, and met with engineers involved in critical national projects.
