BREAKING NEWS
Developed by Nurol Makina, the Ejder Yalçın 4x4 tactical wheeled armored vehicle has become one of the rising global brands of Türkiye’s defense industry. Designed to operate effectively in both conventional and asymmetric warfare environments, the vehicle offers high-level ballistic protection, exceptional off-road mobility and a strong payload capacity. These characteristics make Ejder Yalçın a preferred choice not only within Türkiye but also for numerous countries across the Middle East, Gulf region, Asia, Africa and Europe. With over ten mission-specific configurations, the platform provides solutions for combat and support roles alike.
A major milestone was reached in 2020 when the vehicle entered the inventory of Hungary, a member of both the European Union and NATO. This achievement demonstrated the international recognition of Türkiye’s advancements in armored vehicle technology. Its ability to operate alongside NATO’s technologically advanced platforms in joint missions highlights the reliability and performance level reached through years of continuous improvement.
Responding to user demands, Nurol Makina has continued to expand the Ejder Yalçın family with new variants such as an ambulance configuration and a 120-millimeter mortar carrier. The vehicle has also proven itself in United Nations Peacekeeping missions, particularly in the Sahel Region of Africa, where it successfully protected personnel against asymmetric threats. Its performance in these high-risk operational environments has increased global interest, leading to a new contract signed this year with another UN user country.
One of the key factors behind the platform’s success is Nurol Makina’s commitment to providing on-site maintenance and repair support in demanding regions. This ensures high sustainability and operational readiness, contributing to the millions of kilometers of field experience accumulated by the fleet. Its NATO-compatible architecture (N-GVA) allows mission equipment to be integrated quickly and cost-effectively without compromising vehicle performance. As a result, many countries use Ejder Yalçın not only in their own conventional operations but also in NATO, UN and other international missions.
Today, Ejder Yalçın 4x4 stands as a globally recognized, multi-role armored vehicle—an international symbol of the capabilities and reliability of Türkiye’s defense industry.
