Nurol Makina, one of the key players in Türkiye’s defense industry, unveiled its next-generation EJDER KUNTER II at the IDEF 2023 International Defense Industry Fair in Istanbul. Presented between July 25–28, the vehicle reflects both technological upgrades and improvements based on operational feedback from the field.
The EJDER KUNTER II demonstrates exceptional multi-role adaptability, offering a wide range of configurations to meet different mission requirements. At the exhibition, variants including prisoner transport, personnel carrier, command and control vehicle, and ambulance were showcased. With enhanced ballistic protection, the vehicle ensures superior safety for security forces while maintaining effectiveness across diverse climates and challenging terrains. Its hydraulic-assisted steering system and ergonomically adjustable seats also provide greater comfort during extended operations.
As an original design by Nurol Makina, the EJDER KUNTER II integrates weapon station options, enhancing its deterrence capability for both military and internal security missions. Its modular design further allows the integration of specialized mission equipment, offering users significant flexibility.
The platform is not limited to conventional roles; it can be configured as an armored logistics truck, fuel tanker, weapons carrier, command and control vehicle, internal security platform, CBRN vehicle, reconnaissance unit, armored ambulance, or armored cash-in-transit vehicle. This versatility positions the EJDER KUNTER II as a highly competitive and modern armored solution, both for Türkiye and the international defense market.
