One of the most prestigious events in the global small arms industry, SHOT Show 2026, once again hosted the innovations shaping the future of the sector. At the exhibition, Turkish defense industry powerhouse CANiK attracted significant attention by showcasing its expanding product portfolio and unveiling its latest flagship handgun, PRIME RADIAN, for the first time in Las Vegas.

PRIME RADIAN represents the newest product developed under CANiK’s “Industrial Design Partnership” vision and was created in collaboration with U.S.-based premium firearms component specialist RADIAN. The pistol features a high-performance custom compensator, an advanced barrel design engineered for superior accuracy, and an ergonomically refined backstrap that enhances both shooting comfort and visual appeal. These characteristics quickly made PRIME RADIAN one of the most talked-about handguns at the show.

Beyond handguns, CANiK demonstrated its ecosystem-driven strategy by introducing a new family of optics consisting of 10 different models under its own brand. With this move, the company emphasized that it is not only a pistol manufacturer but also a global player in handgun and rifle optics. In addition, CANiK’s newly developed suppressor family, produced with high value-added manufacturing and advanced technologies, was displayed to the public for the first time at SHOT Show 2026.

The highly anticipated Signature Series also expanded this year with the “DRIP” and “DRIP MIDNIGHT” models. Limited to just 2,500 units each, these collector-grade pistols sold out within the first hours of the exhibition, highlighting the strong global demand for CANiK’s exclusive offerings.

SYS Grup CEO Cahit Utku Aral stated that CANiK’s vision goes beyond product development, aiming to set trends in the global small arms industry. Emphasizing the importance of the U.S. market, Aral noted that PRIME RADIAN stands as one of the strongest and most current examples of CANiK’s industrial collaboration approach. He also highlighted ongoing investments in production infrastructure in the United States, underlining the company’s goal of sustainable growth and increasing market share despite global market fluctuations.
