BREAKING NEWS
Turkey’s defense electronics leader ASELSAN continues to expand its global presence with a new export agreement. According to a disclosure filed with the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company has signed a contract worth $54 million for the direct sale of radar and command-control systems to a customer in the Middle East and Africa region. The deal reinforces ASELSAN’s growing role in international defense markets and highlights Turkey’s increasing capability to export high-tech, domestically developed military systems.
The agreement includes the delivery of radar subsystems, command-control software, communication and network infrastructure, as well as associated training, logistics support, and spare parts. These systems are designed to enhance the customer’s operational effectiveness in surveillance, target tracking, threat classification, and command coordination — even under challenging environmental and electronic warfare conditions.
ASELSAN’s modular and scalable radar and command-control solutions are engineered for flexibility and rapid integration into existing platforms. With advanced encryption, multi-sensor fusion, and real-time data sharing capabilities, the systems provide high situational awareness and reliable battlefield interoperability. The contract also involves on-site training and operational support to ensure sustained system performance and capacity-building for the end user.
From a strategic standpoint, this export deal contributes to Turkey’s defense export growth and strengthens ASELSAN’s position as a trusted defense technology provider in the global market. Financially, the $54 million contract will further expand the company’s backlog while boosting its radar and command-control segment revenues.
Through deals like this, ASELSAN continues to transform its technological expertise into international competitiveness — offering comprehensive, turnkey solutions that combine innovation, reliability, and independence from foreign technologies.
