BREAKING NEWS
The SAMUR System features an 8X8 power transmission system, providing exceptional driving performance and speed, especially on loose and muddy terrains. Its soft ground operating ability requires less preparation for water entries and exits. The system's all-wheel steering and short axle distances facilitate easy maneuvering in tight spaces and overcoming obstacles. These capabilities are effective on slopes up to 60% and side slopes of 30%.
Design and Structure
Designed by FNSS engineers, SAMUR has a weight of 36,000 kg and a crew capacity of 3. It measures 13 m in length, 3.5 m in width, and 3.95 m in height. The ground clearance is adjustable from 0 to 0.65 m.
Mobility
SAMUR's engine is diesel-powered with a fully automatic 7 forward, 1 reverse transmission. Its maximum road speed is 76 km/h, and water speed is 10 km/h. The vehicle's maximum range exceeds 600 km. It can overcome vertical obstacles up to 0.5 m and trenches up to 2 m.
Survivability and Life Support Features
SAMUR is equipped with STANAG 4569 level ballistic protection, CBRN defense systems, and air conditioning.
Mission Equipment
The electrical system is supported by 2 x 12 V, 120 Ah batteries and self-warning 2x140 A brushless alternators.
Versatile Usage
Designed for military purposes and natural disasters like floods, SAMUR's versatility enhances the operational flexibility of the Turkish Armed Forces.
Superior Features
Compared to other systems worldwide designed for similar purposes, SAMUR stands out with its advanced mobility, safety features, and technical superiority.
