The BARIŞ KARTALI Project is an advanced C4ISR solution for the Turkish Air Force, encompassing Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) capabilities. HAVELSAN played a significant role in this project, developing mission software for the air segment and designing, producing, and delivering the Ground Support Segment. The system comprises 4 AEW&C aircraft and a Ground Support Segment, equipped with radar, IFF, Electronic Support Measures (ESM), and real-time communication capabilities. HAVELSAN also provides Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and engineering services post-delivery.

Technical Features:

• Radar System: Detection capability within a radius of 200+nmi.
• IFF System: Identification capability within a 300 nmi radius.
• Electronic Support Measures (ESM): Electronic intelligence and identification.
• Communication and Data Links: HF, V/UHF, UHF, SATCOM radios; Link-11, Link-16/IJMS tactical data links.

Project Components:

• AEW&C System: Consists of 4 AEW&C aircraft and a Ground Support Unit segment.
• Ground Support Segment: Includes Mission Planning System, Mission Simulator, and Software Support Center.

AEW&C Aircraft Subsystems:

• Radar/IFF, ESM, Communication, and Data Link: Essential sensors and communication systems.
• Mission Navigation and Avionics: Necessary avionics for navigation and mission execution.
• Mission Computer: Contains various software units developed by HAVELSAN.

HAVELSAN's Contributions:

• Mission Software Development: Communication, ESM management, mission navigation, and avionics control interfaces.
• Design and Production of Ground Support Segment: Mission planning, simulation, and software support center.
• Integrated Logistic Support (ILS): Engineering and maintenance support.
