ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol stated that Bayraktar KIZILELMA’s world-first air-to-air missile achievement was made possible through the collaboration of ASELSAN, Baykar and TÜBİTAK SAGE, highlighting Türkiye’s growing strength in the global tech ecosyste

The U.S. test of the MQ-28 combat drone was overshadowed by Türkiye’s KIZILELMA, which became the first unmanned fighter to detect and destroy a target with its own radar.

Türkiye achieved a world first as KIZILELMA hit a target detected by its own radar, while Skydagger successfully deployed a kamikaze drone from a UAV.

KIZILELMA’s rapid sequence of radar, missile, and F-16 simulation tests signals that Turkey is approaching a key milestone in unmanned combat aircraft development.

Baykar’s indigenous armed UAVs, particularly the Bayraktar TB2, are contributing significantly to security and stability in Africa. The company now exports its systems to 37 countries, making Africa one of its fastest-growing markets.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA successfully completed its latest armed tests. Experts say the platform will reduce the burden on manned jets while greatly expanding the use of Türkiye’s national munitions.

Bayraktar KIZILELMA successfully completed its first live-fire trials in Çorlu, striking two separate targets with ASELSAN’s TOLUN and ROKETSAN’s TEBER-82 guided munitions.

In a coordinated test, Bayraktar TB3, Bayraktar KIZILELMA and Bayraktar AKINCI took off one after another, successfully demonstrating strike, maneuver and operational sortie capabilities.
