Under the theme “AI for Defence”, HAVELSAN is presenting a wide range of advanced technologies at IDEF 2025, held at the Istanbul Expo Center. With TRT as the communication sponsor, the company is demonstrating how artificial intelligence is transforming modern defense operations. HAVELSAN’s main booth in Hall 6 features integrated multi-domain command and control (C2/C4I) systems, AI-driven decision support frameworks, and manned-unmanned teaming solutions that strengthen joint land, air, and naval operations.
Among the highlights is the ADVENT Combat Management System, now fully integrated with MAIN, HAVELSAN’s AI-based maintenance support assistant. Visitors can experience the system’s real-time voice command recognition, a feature designed to accelerate command processes and improve situational awareness in complex combat environments. The booth also showcases underwater command-control architectures, joint/land C4I solutions, integrated border security systems, and next-generation e-maritime software.
HAVELSAN is also emphasizing its simulation and training ecosystem. The company exhibits the ALTAY Tank VR Training System, advanced land/air/naval simulators, and its Electronic Warfare Test and Training Range (EHTES). In addition, desktop and VR-based training platforms, shooting ranges, and electronic warfare modules are being presented. A major attraction is the demonstration of BARKAN (land), BAHA (air), and SANCAR (naval) systems working together in joint operational scenarios. At Ataköy Marina, HAVELSAN is holding live demonstrations of its SANCAR and ZIPKIN surface platforms, illustrating the coordination between unmanned systems across multiple domains.
For the first time, HAVELSAN is unveiling Bluevision, an AI-supported navigation assistant for civilian maritime use. Bluevision processes real-time data to enhance situational awareness for ships, offering collision prediction, route optimization, and intelligent safety alerts. The booth also features interactive demonstrations of the MAIN AI system, the KOVAN next-generation business management platform, and Eyeminer, an AI-driven critical facility security solution.
HAVELSAN CEO Mehmet Akif Nacar emphasized that the company is shaping a new defense paradigm led by artificial intelligence, stating: “With our motto ‘AI for Defence / futureAIready,’ we are showcasing how AI integration makes our technologies smarter and more effective.” HAVELSAN’s participation at IDEF 2025 highlights Türkiye’s growing capabilities in defense software, simulation, and AI-driven command-control technologies.
