BREAKING NEWS
Türkiye’s domestically developed naval command-and-control solutions have taken an important step onto the international stage with the official deployment of the ADVENT Combat Management System (CMS) and the FLEETSTAR Ship Data Distribution System to the Indonesian Navy. Developed by HAVELSAN, the systems were integrated into the KCR-60 class fast attack craft KRI BELATI-622, where they successfully completed sea acceptance trials and live-fire testing.
During the testing phase, ADVENT demonstrated its advanced capabilities in multi-threat scenarios, including high-performance target detection, tracking and seamless interaction with onboard subsystems. The hands-on technical support provided by HAVELSAN engineers during the trials was met with strong recognition from the Indonesian Ministry of Defence, SATGAS evaluation teams and PT TESCO INDOMARITIM Shipyard representatives.
KRI BELATI-622 now stands as the first Indonesian naval platform to receive both the ADVENT Combat Management System and the FLEETSTAR Data Distribution System, marking a significant milestone in Türkiye’s defense technology exports to the Asia-Pacific region. The platform, constructed by PT TESCO INDOMARITIM, represents a key step in HAVELSAN’s expanding overseas footprint and its long-term cooperation prospects in the region.
HAVELSAN CEO Mehmet Akif Nacar emphasized the success of the program, noting that the project—initiated under a 2022 agreement—had been carried out in strong coordination with PT TESCO INDOMARITIM. Nacar highlighted that ADVENT and FLEETSTAR are delivering the same high-level performance in Indonesia as they do aboard Turkish Navy vessels, adding that HAVELSAN aims to further expand cooperation across OPV-90, Merah Putih, KCR-60 and KCR-70 class platforms.
This delivery underscores Türkiye’s growing influence in advanced naval software systems while contributing significantly to the Indonesian Navy’s modernization efforts. With its network-enabled warfare capabilities and its ability to unify sensors and weapon systems under a single command structure, ADVENT enhances the operational effectiveness and situational awareness of any platform it is deployed on.
