BREAKING NEWS
Türkiye continues to demonstrate its growing strength in defense technologies with the integration of the RF seeker missile into the HİSAR O+ Air Defense System. Developed under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), this advancement highlights Türkiye’s determination to overcome international embargoes through self-reliant and innovative solutions.
The RF seeker, developed by ASELSAN, offers superior precision in target detection and engagement. By enabling more accurate guidance towards targets, the missile system significantly increases interception and destruction rates. The compatibility between the HİSAR O+ system and HİSAR RF missiles further strengthens the nation’s layered air defense architecture, providing operational depth and resilience.
This capability is not limited to land-based air defense but also extends to naval platforms. Integration into İ-Class Frigates and other naval vessels will significantly boost the Turkish Navy’s defense strength. With this step, Türkiye enhances both its land and sea-based air defense capabilities, reducing foreign dependency and solidifying its deterrence power.
In addition, the HİSAR missile family, supported by indigenous software and technology, carries strong export potential. As global interest in these systems grows, Türkiye is poised to expand its influence in the international defense market. HİSAR RF is expected to elevate Türkiye’s role as a reliable and competitive defense technology provider on the global stage.
