Türkiye and Pakistan have taken a significant step toward deepening their defense cooperation by establishing a strategic partnership in air-to-air missile technology. On February 15, 2024, Turkish Deputy Chief of General Staff General İrfan Özsert visited the Pakistan Air Force, where discussions focused on military training initiatives and technology collaboration. This visit is seen as a tangible example of the long-standing brotherhood between the two nations being extended into advanced defense cooperation.

During the talks, both sides agreed to initiate joint training programs for their air forces, enhance capabilities through technology sharing, and expand joint military exercises.
