Operations aboard TCG Anadolu included the inspection and deployment of the Bayraktar TB3 unmanned aerial vehicle to the flight deck. Naval infantry personnel were positioned aboard Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicles (ZAHA) to participate in the amphibious landing scenario during the exercise.
The exercise featured the transfer of naval infantry units via SH-70 Seahawk helicopter, while AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter pilots conducted landing and takeoff training operations. These activities were designed to test coordination and combat capability in amphibious-to-shore operations.
The Ministry of National Defence stated that Turkish Armed Forces successfully completed the amphibious landing operation from sea to shore with speed, coordination, and high combat capability. The EFES-2026 exercise continues to demonstrate the operational readiness and integrated air-sea-land capabilities of the Turkish Armed Forces.
