BREAKING NEWS
The PUHU Cargo UAV family, one of the notable unmanned aerial vehicle solutions developed by the Turkish defense industry, will be showcased at SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aerospace and Space Industry Fair. Organized by SAHA Istanbul with Anadolu Agency as the global communication partner, the fair will take place at the Istanbul Expo Center on May 5-9. At the event, DASAL’s PUHU C75 Cargo UAV will be presented as a field-proven system that has already entered the inventory of Turkish security forces.
Following its entry into service, PUHU C75 successfully demonstrated its performance under battlefield conditions and challenging environmental circumstances. With a payload capacity of 75 kilograms, the system was developed to meet logistics requirements in areas where transportation is difficult, risky or time-critical. Its agile and robust design, modular structure and redundant flight-critical avionics architecture enable safe and uninterrupted flight, making it a versatile platform for both military and civilian missions.
One of the most important features of PUHU C75 is its resistance to electronic warfare conditions and fully autonomous flight capability. Able to operate day and night, the system reduces personnel risk in missions where ground transportation is limited, security threats are high or rapid delivery is required. In this respect, PUHU C75 contributes to operational continuity in border areas, mountainous terrain, forward operating bases, disaster zones and other hard-to-reach locations.
PUHU C75 also offers significant capability beyond military logistics missions. In natural disasters and emergency scenarios, it can rapidly deliver medical supplies, food, search-and-rescue equipment, military gear and other essential materials to areas where ground access has been disrupted or geographical conditions make transportation difficult. Designed to support transport and search-and-rescue operations, the system can be adapted to different mission requirements on a single platform while also providing efficiency and cost advantages in maintenance and repair processes.
Building on the experience gained from PUHU C75, DASAL continues its work on PUHU C100 in line with developing technologies and user demands for greater payload capacity and extended range. PUHU C100 has been developed to meet critical logistics needs in the field with a payload capacity of up to 100 kilograms, longer range and high horizontal speed. Designed as a next-generation rotary-wing cargo UAV, the platform stands out with its autonomous mission planning and optimum route determination capabilities.
PUHU C100 can deliver critical materials to the target area without landing by using its automatic hook unit. When required, it can land at different base areas and be prepared for a new mission. The system provides uninterrupted mission continuity with its fast-charging infrastructure and smart battery software, while advanced flight and payload control systems increase operational efficiency. With a total take-off weight of 360 kilograms, PUHU C100 can reach a maximum speed of 90 kilometers per hour. It offers a mission range of up to 30 kilometers for one-way missions and up to 15 kilometers for missions requiring return to base.
The PUHU Cargo UAV family highlights the level reached by the Turkish defense industry in unmanned logistics systems. With its ability to improve personnel safety and accelerate critical supply deliveries, PUHU stands out as a next-generation cargo UAV solution. PUHU C75 and PUHU C100, which will be displayed at SAHA 2026, are expected to draw attention as platforms suitable for both military operations and civilian emergency response missions.
