Nurol Makina, one of Türkiye’s leading armored vehicle manufacturers, showcased its Ejder Yalçın 4x4 tactical wheeled armored vehicle at DVD2022, one of the UK’s most prominent defense industry exhibitions. Following its contract with Hungary, which marked the company’s entry into the European market, Nurol Makina demonstrated Ejder Yalçın’s strong firepower and advanced technologies, making it one of the highlights of the event.
Equipped with a 30 mm cannon, Ejder Yalçın offers enhanced firepower for battlefield operations. In addition, the vehicle is fitted with the acoustic gunshot detection system developed by Germany’s Rheinmetall, which significantly boosts its effectiveness in modern combat. This system can detect hostile fire attempts within a 360-degree area, providing security forces with a crucial tactical advantage.
During DVD2022, which brought together over 210 companies and military delegations from around the world, the vehicle was presented as a versatile and durable platform. With its high stability and 4-ton payload capacity, Ejder Yalçın is designed to perform effectively under challenging operational conditions. Beyond fire support, it is capable of undertaking diverse missions such as border surveillance, reconnaissance, command and control, combat operations, and troop transport.
Having already entered service in four continents with over 1,000 units produced, Ejder Yalçın has established itself as a reliable and multi-role tactical armored vehicle. Through its participation in DVD2022, Nurol Makina aims to further expand its footprint in the UK and European defense markets by showcasing the vehicle’s proven capabilities.
