Nurol Makina, one of the leading companies in Türkiye’s defense industry, has achieved another milestone with its Yörük 4x4 armored vehicle, now gaining international recognition. Designed for multi-purpose use, the vehicle is set to be exported to four different countries under signed agreements. Deliveries are planned to begin within this year, highlighting the growing export strength of Türkiye’s defense sector.
The Yörük 4x4 reflects Nurol Makina’s expertise in tactical wheeled armored vehicles. With its high protection level, operational flexibility in combat, and efficiency in logistics support, the vehicle has proven to be an indispensable solution for modern armies. Furthermore, its ability to integrate various weapon systems makes it a versatile platform for multiple mission profiles.
At IDEF 2021, the pickup version of the Yörük 4x4 was unveiled, showcasing its adaptability and expanding its mission range. Nurol Makina Deputy General Manager Anıl Karel emphasized that the Yörük 4x4 Pickup could be deployed in both combat and logistical operations, further strengthening its multifunctional role.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, production and export schedules have continued without major disruptions, underlining Nurol Makina’s strong manufacturing and organizational capacity. Starting next year, the pickup version is expected to enter serial production as well. These developments not only highlight Türkiye’s growing indigenous production capabilities but also its advancing technological competence in the defense industry.
