BREAKING NEWS
Koluman Otomotiv, one of Türkiye’s prominent suppliers of heavy logistics and tactical vehicles, is preparing to present its new solutions at SAHA 2026 with a focus on operational efficiency and personnel safety. Among the systems to be showcased, the most striking platform will be the fully equipped ambulance configuration of the KISRAK 4x4, which will be displayed for the first time in this form.
The KISRAK 4x4 Ambulance has been designed for casualty evacuation in difficult operational environments where conventional vehicles often fail to move effectively. Equipped with a 330 HP engine and an Allison 3500 SP fully automatic transmission, the vehicle is built to maintain mobility in demanding field conditions. Thanks to its portal axle structure, it reaches 520 mm ground clearance, allowing it to pass through terrain that standard ambulances and support vehicles would struggle to cross. This makes the platform especially valuable for frontline evacuation and tactical medical support missions.
Beyond mobility, the vehicle’s medical configuration is one of its strongest features. The platform is fitted with a climate control system that can operate independently of the main engine, which is critical for maintaining medical stability during evacuation. It can carry 5 personnel and 2 stretcher patients, and includes a NATO-compatible rail loading stretcher system, a resuscitation unit, oxygen support equipment, various medical intervention kits, and fire-resistant medicine storage compartments. These features show that KISRAK is not just a transport vehicle, but a dedicated battlefield ambulance tailored for demanding operational needs.
Koluman will also present its DERMAN 8x8 Tractor at SAHA 2026. Configured for the transport of main battle tanks and heavy tracked military platforms, DERMAN is powered by a 625 HP OM473 engine and features Turbo Retarder Clutch technology to improve traction and safety under extreme loads. With a towing capacity of up to 250 tons, a fuel capacity exceeding 1,000 liters, steep slope climbing ability, and deep water fording performance, the platform represents a major heavy logistics asset for long-range military operations.
The company sees SAHA 2026 not only as an exhibition, but as a strategic venue for building new partnerships and expanding exports. Koluman aims to transform the export potential of DERMAN and KISRAK into concrete cooperation opportunities, especially in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. During the exhibition, the company is expected to hold technical meetings with foreign military delegations and procurement teams, while also discussing new R&D partnerships to increase localization rates and support future vehicle designs.
Overall, the KISRAK 4x4 Ambulance highlights the Turkish defense industry’s growing ability to develop role-specific armored vehicle solutions. With its combination of rugged mobility, battlefield medical capability, and export potential, the platform is positioned as both an operational asset for security forces and a strong candidate for international markets.
