BREAKING NEWS
EYEMINER, a cutting-edge artificial intelligence-based video analytics solution developed by HAVELSAN, has marked a significant milestone by achieving its first export to Africa. The system will be deployed as part of an integrated security project aimed at protecting a strategically critical roadway. This export demonstrates Türkiye’s growing capability not only in defense platforms and hardware but also in advanced software-driven security technologies powered by artificial intelligence.
Designed to function as a “digital eye,” EYEMINER continuously analyzes video feeds from cameras and sensors using deep learning algorithms. The system can automatically detect suspicious stops, abnormal vehicle behavior, abandoned objects, sudden traffic density changes, illegal crossing attempts, and other unusual activities. By instantly alerting operators to potential threats such as terrorism risks, accidents, or unauthorized access attempts, EYEMINER significantly reduces response time and enhances operational efficiency.
Unlike traditional surveillance systems that rely heavily on human monitoring, EYEMINER minimizes risks associated with operator fatigue and attention lapses. Its 24/7 automated analytics capability ensures uninterrupted monitoring and consistent accuracy. The system also supports multi-object tracking, license plate recognition integration, blacklist comparison, facial recognition-based identification, and rapid forensic video search tools including timeline and incident clip extraction. These features provide strong decision-support capabilities for security authorities.
In Türkiye, EYEMINER is already integrated into national law enforcement infrastructure, supporting traffic management, crowd monitoring, border protection, and critical infrastructure security. The African deployment represents a strategic reference project that is expected to open doors to additional international markets. With this development, Türkiye’s defense industry further strengthens its position in exporting high-value AI-driven security solutions to the global arena.
