EODH and KNDS signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the production of 8×8 Boxer armored vehicles at the EUROSATORY 2026 exhibition in Paris. The contract marks the beginning of a 10-year partnership valued at 200 million euros. EODH used the forum to introduce integrated modernization systems for land platforms for the first time.
EODH holds a significant position in Greece's defense industry sector. As an established presence in the European defense ecosystem, the company leads strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening industrial sovereignty across the continent. The EODH DYNAMICS subsidiary, established in 2025, focuses on the land vehicles sector and encompasses a broad range of activities from research and development through prototype production to series manufacturing. This new entity aims to meet the growing demand of Greek and allied armed forces for armored combat vehicles, support equipment, and modernized systems.
The Boxer 8×8 armored vehicle is recognized as a NATO-standard platform and serves as a versatile multipurpose system. The platform is widely preferred by European armies due to its high mobility, protection level, and modular design. KNDS leads in the design and production of this platform. Under the agreement, EODH will partner with KNDS in the production and integration of Boxer vehicles, thereby enhancing Greece's land vehicle capabilities.
Greece has made significant investments in land forces modernization in recent years. The country, considering the security environment in the Eastern Mediterranean and its responsibilities within the NATO alliance, has prioritized strengthening its armored vehicle fleet. EODH DYNAMICS' 10,000-square-meter industrial facility will be equipped with advanced machinery including artificial intelligence and robotics technologies. The facility will host diverse manufacturing activities including cutting, welding, machining, assembly, painting, testing, and turret integration.
European defense industry is undergoing a transformation aimed at strengthening its own industrial capacity and reducing strategic dependencies. The partnership between EODH and KNDS contributes to the consolidation of armored vehicle production capabilities within the continent. Similarly, Turkish defense industry continues to develop indigenous and national solutions in the land platforms sector. Turkey's ALTAY tank and various armored vehicle projects represent parallel efforts to enhance regional defense capacity. These initiatives by Europe and Turkey underscore the importance of technological sharing and industrial cooperation among NATO allies.
