BREAKING NEWS
Under the coordination of the Presidency's Defense Industry Agency (SSB), C-Prot developed and HAVELSAN implemented Turkey's first Endpoint Detection and Response (AV-EDR) platform. The solution was delivered to the Ministry of National Defence during a ceremony held within the scope of SAHA 2026. This development represents a concrete outcome of Turkey's objectives to reduce dependence on foreign cyber security solutions, protect critical systems with domestic technologies, and strengthen digital sovereignty.
The AV-EDR platform establishes a new standard in endpoint security through its integrated architecture that consolidates Next-Generation Antivirus and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) functions under a single agent. Through this approach, organizations can transition from fragmented security structures to a more streamlined, faster, and effective infrastructure. The platform provides deep visibility at endpoints through high-volume telemetry collection and advanced threat detection capabilities, enabling early identification of potential threats and rapid response. Additionally, the solution has been developed to work in full compatibility with domestic and national operating systems, particularly Pardus, providing high-level integration and operational continuity in public institutions and critical infrastructure.
Endpoint security and EDR technologies are among the most complex systems to develop, requiring advanced engineering, threat intelligence, and continuous data processing capabilities. Only a limited number of countries possess the ability to develop solutions in this field. Actors capable of developing this technology include the United States, Israel, Russia, China, Japan, and France. Turkey's development of a domestic solution in this area represents a significant achievement in transitioning to the limited technology league.
The platform developed by C-Prot represents a critical step that positions Turkey not merely as a user of these technologies, but among countries with the capacity to develop and export them. The delivery aligns directly with the vision presented during the Cyber Security Council meeting held on May 5. Within this scope, cyber security was emphasized as an integral part of national security, with critical infrastructure protection, data sovereignty, and development of domestic technologies identified as priority areas.
The use of domestic cyber security solutions in national defense stands out as a strategic necessity, while the developed AV-EDR platform is positioned as a critical layer strengthening Turkey's cyber sovereignty. The platform is intended to be widely deployed in the coming period, particularly in the defense industry, as well as in energy, finance, public services, and other critical infrastructure sectors. This delivery is regarded as an important milestone that strengthens Turkey's domestic and national capacity in cyber security, reinforces digital sovereignty, and advances its position in global competition.
