BREAKING NEWS
Blitz Teknoloji, based in Istanbul, develops mission-critical gimbal and ISR systems for unmanned air, land, and sea platforms. The company's products are equipped with artificial intelligence-supported advanced video processing modules, incorporating autonomous capabilities such as real-time image enhancement, object tracking, and moving target indication (MTI). These technologies have been successfully integrated into various platform types and deployed in operational environments.
Blitz Teknoloji's corporate structure and market position highlight it as a domestic venture proven in critical Turkish defense industry projects. The company provides compact camera systems ranging from 250 grams to 7 kilograms, delivering broad and robust situational awareness to unmanned platforms. This scalable design enables adaptation to different platform requirements. Developed entirely in-house, these systems offer night vision imaging without loss of quality and autonomous detection and tracking of moving targets, providing field units with continuous intelligence and reconnaissance superiority.
Gimbal and ISR systems are fundamental components of modern unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and ground platforms. These systems play a critical role in target recognition, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. Blitz Teknoloji's products are employed in numerous challenging operations, ranging from counter-drone solutions that neutralize kamikaze drones to border and facility security. Within the Turkish defense industry ecosystem, specialized ventures like Blitz Teknoloji, alongside major players such as BAYKAR, TUSAŞ, and ROKETSAN, increase localization rates and contribute to technological independence.
The company's export success reflects the strengthening position of Turkish defense industry in the global market in recent years. Blitz Teknoloji's products are exported to over 20 countries, including South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and Canada. With the establishment of Blitz Technology Inc. in the United States earlier this year, the company has strengthened its global structure and expanded its presence in the Asian market. The formation of a joint venture with ALUX, South Korea's largest drone company, represents a significant step in this strategic expansion.
Under the joint venture framework, a manufacturing facility will be established in Incheon, South Korea. Blitz Teknoloji is continuing the design of a new electro-optical gimbal system for the South Korean military. The production rights for this gimbal system are planned to be held by the joint venture. The system is being developed to be equipped with the first HD 8um thermal camera developed outside China. This initiative aims to establish a significant alternative to Chinese thermal camera solutions in the global market.
