BREAKING NEWS
ASELSAN continues to bring its technological expertise in defense to the battlefield with next-generation electronic warfare systems. Its latest development, EJDERHA, has been designed to meet the complex needs of modern warfare. Utilizing high-power microwave technology, this system provides superior deterrence against electronic devices. During the SAHA MBA Senior Bureaucrat and Sector Leaders Training, ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol showcased test footage of EJDERHA, highlighting its advanced capabilities and drawing significant attention.
EJDERHA stands out as a solution specifically tailored against improvised explosive devices (IEDs), drones, and other electronic systems frequently used by terrorist organizations. By generating electromagnetic energy, it can temporarily disable targeted devices, cause malfunctions, or render them permanently inoperable. These features make it a critical support tool for the Turkish Land Forces Command and security units.
The system was also exhibited at the IDEF 2023 Fair, where it garnered strong interest from defense industry experts. Equipped with a directional antenna and reflector set, EJDERHA allows control over the intensity and frequency of its strikes. This makes it highly effective in convoy protection, troop movements, and operational security. Moreover, its compatibility with both manned and unmanned platforms enhances its operational flexibility. Built to endure harsh environments and challenging field conditions, EJDERHA ensures reliable support on the battlefield.
With EJDERHA, ASELSAN is not only addressing current threats but also preparing for the challenges of future warfare. This breakthrough in electronic warfare demonstrates Türkiye's growing capabilities in defense technology and further strengthens its position in the global defense sector.
