BREAKING NEWS
Turkey’s leading defense technology company ASELSAN has showcased its latest innovations at the IDEF 2025 Defense Industry Fair, held under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense and supported by the Presidency of Defense Industries. During the exhibition, ASELSAN introduced several advanced air defense solutions integrated into the Çelik Kubbe (Iron Dome) system, designed to provide multi-layered protection against aerial threats.
Among the newly unveiled systems, EJDERHA stands out as a next-generation anti-drone system designed to counter unmanned aerial threats. Utilizing microwave-based technology, EJDERHA can effectively neutralize not only conventional drones but also mini and micro UAVs. This makes it particularly effective for protecting border areas, military bases, and other critical infrastructure from low-altitude air incursions.
Developed entirely by ASELSAN engineers using domestic resources, EJDERHA features high mobility, enabling rapid deployment and quick response to dynamic threats. Its unique design, modular structure, and advanced command-and-control interface further enhance its operational efficiency. EJDERHA represents another major step forward for Turkey in the field of electronic warfare and air defense.
In addition to EJDERHA, ASELSAN also introduced GÖKTAN, KORAL 200, TURAN, and GÜRZ air defense systems, all integrated within the Çelik Kubbe architecture. This “system of systems” approach, endorsed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, strengthens Turkey’s layered air defense capabilities and supports the continued modernization of the Turkish Armed Forces.
