BREAKING NEWS
Alp Aviation, one of the most prominent players in Türkiye’s defense and aerospace sector, continues to stand out with its engineering expertise and advanced production capabilities. According to statements from Ankara Coordinator Yılmaz Güldoğan, the company has secured a strong position not only domestically but also in the global aviation industry. By collaborating with international giants such as Sikorsky, Alp Aviation plays a vital role in helicopter and engine production, maintaining the highest quality standards. With 90% of its revenue generated from exports, the company contributes nearly 20% to Türkiye’s total aerospace exports, making it a leader in the field.
The company’s involvement in national projects is of strategic importance. Alp Aviation provides design and manufacturing support for the GÖKBEY Utility Helicopter, the ATAK-2 Attack Helicopter, and the KAAN National Combat Aircraft, strengthening Türkiye’s defense independence. Despite Türkiye’s removal from the F-35 program, the company continues to attract global attention through its engine components production. Its role in the T70 Utility Helicopter Program and the design of the accessory gearbox used in GÖKBEY highlight its engineering excellence.
Innovative solutions such as the Helical Rack Gear Mechanism demonstrate Alp Aviation’s technical capabilities, particularly in supporting KAAN and other combat aircraft projects. Moreover, joint developments with ASELSAN, such as bearings and ring gears, extend the lifespan of weapon systems, showcasing the company’s impact on both aviation and defense technologies. These achievements significantly contribute to reducing foreign dependency in Türkiye’s defense industry.
Additionally, Alp Aviation actively integrates Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance efficiency across its production lines. By utilizing unmanned transport systems and pioneering ceramic cutters for processing nickel alloys, the company not only reduces costs but also increases value-added production for engine components. These technological advancements highlight Alp Aviation’s critical role in achieving Türkiye’s national defense and aerospace ambitions.
