It has been observed that the developments in the defense industry in Türkiye have had positive effects on Turan. As a result of the increase in demand for small arms ammunition on a global scale and the careful monitoring of initiatives to meet the needs in Türkiye, it was decided that the future of the company should be shaped in this field. Accordingly, the necessary infrastructure investments were completed in 2019 and the production of 9×19 mm pistol ammunition was started under the Turan Ammunition brand. In a short time, the production capacity of 50 million sound cartridges and 100 million 9×19 mm bullets was reached.

With the production of lead, the company opened up to foreign markets, and a significant part of the production started to be exported to America and European countries.

With the emergence of intense demand for 7.62 x 39 mm and 5.56 x 45 mm ammunition in the world market, the 2022-2023 investment plan has been revised; Necessary building, infrastructure and machinery investments for the manufacturing and filling lines of these munitions have been initiated.
