Meteksan Defense Industry Inc. was established in 2006 to consolidate and coordinate the defense-related projects and activities of high-tech companies under Bilkent Holding under a single umbrella.

In line with its founding purpose and aligned with the vision of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), Meteksan Defense aims to develop and produce domestic, national, independent, and original high-tech products and subsystems to meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces and other security units.

The systems and subsystems produced are used for command and control, communication, reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence purposes and are integrated into a wide range of platforms including surface and underwater vessels, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and missile systems.

As a group company of Bilkent Holding, all revenues generated by Meteksan Defense are transferred to Bilkent University to support the scholarships of more students and provide access to modern educational opportunities.
