Established in 2014 with the aim of producing small arms ammunition and smoothbore rifle cartridges at international standards in Türkiye, BPS Balıkesir Explosive Materials Industry and Trade Inc. has been continuing its activities by continuously improving its production facilities, capacity and technologies since its establishment.

BPS Balıkesir Explosive Materials Industry and Trade Inc. was established in 2014 to produce high-quality small arms ammunition in Türkiye. The company continues its activities in its own production and storage facilities established in an open area of 273,000 m² and a closed area of 20,000 m² in the Yeniköy region of Balıkesir. Currently, shotgun cartridges and 9x19 mm ammunition of all calibers are produced; by 2023, it is planned to start the production of 5.56x45 mm, 7.62x51 mm, 7.62x54 mm, 12.7x99 mm and 12.7x108 mm ammunition.

In the production process, the discipline of quality assurance is meticulously followed from raw materials to the final product. Being aware of the strategic importance of its products, BPS manufactures with high quality control systems and trains all its personnel with this understanding.

The company; It has ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate, Certificate of Conformity to Turkish Standards (TSE), C.I.P., NATO Facility Security Certificate (FSCC) and Republic of Türkiye Ministry of National Defense Facility Security Certificate. Today, BPS exports to nearly 40 countries and its products are preferred by both civilian users and security forces.
