ALTOY Defense Industry and Aerospace Inc., a Turkish company with foreign partnership, was established on February 7, 2014, in Ankara in accordance with the provisions of the Turkish Commercial Code.
Among its shareholders is AeroVironment Inc. (USA), which holds approximately 85% of the global unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market. ALTOY was founded with the goal of bringing HALE (High Altitude Long Endurance) platform technologies—yet to be developed in Türkiye—into the country.
The company has been authorized to jointly produce AeroVironment’s UAV products in Turkey and to conduct joint sales to 20 countries in the nearby region through Türkiye.
