Founded in 1998 in Eskişehir, ALP Aviation operates as a joint venture with Sikorsky. It serves as a qualified supplier for the transmission systems of international BLACKHAWK and SEAHAWK helicopters and contributes approximately 20% of Turkey’s total aerospace exports, making it the third-largest aerospace exporter in the country.
In the aerospace and aviation industry, ALP Aviation has developed capabilities exceeding global standards in critical areas such as design, manufacturing, maintenance, and after-sales services. The company aims to take the industry beyond the foreseeable future by strengthening its competitiveness in the global market through efficient operations and lean manufacturing practices—continually exceeding customer expectations in quality and on-time delivery. ALP Aviation employs ~1,500 qualified personnel across four modern facilities located on a single campus, comprising a total of 50,000 m² of fully climate-controlled production space.
The facility features next-generation multi-axis machining centers and CMM systems, carries out special processes, executes assembly operations, and performs final acceptance tests. A strong emphasis is placed on continuously developing competencies in line with customer requirements. Leveraging its expertise in machining titanium, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper alloys, and superalloys, the company manufactures and assembles helicopter dynamic components, tail rotor drive shaft (TRDS) systems, engine and APU parts, landing gear components and assemblies, structural aircraft parts, and tube assemblies. Additionally, with the capability to perform nearly 100 NADCAP-approved special processes, ALP Aviation continues to maintain its competitive position in the global aerospace industry.
