BREAKING NEWS
EIRS is a next-generation early warning radar system developed by Aselsan. This S-Band and AESA-based system possesses long-range detection and tracking capabilities, even able to detect low radar cross-section targets. EIRS, with its versatile and high mobility features, stands out with its quick deployment and NATO-compliant characteristics. EIRS is a state-of-the-art early warning radar system developed by Aselsan, utilizing AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) and digital beamforming technologies. Operating in the S-Band frequency, EIRS enables long-range detection and tracking of targets with low radar cross-section (RCS) and airborne characteristics. Its multi-channel receiver structure allows simultaneous tracking of multiple targets.
Operational Flexibility and Mobility
EIRS boasts high mobility and does not require additional equipment for setup or disassembly. This feature makes EIRS a fast and flexible radar solution. Additionally, the radar system can be integrated into existing radar networks, sharing the 3D air picture with other systems and Control and Reporting Centers via radio links.
Data Integration and IFF System
EIRS can perform data fusion with other EIRS systems and transfer target information. It is equipped with a Mode 5 IFF interrogator, providing a long-range Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system compliant with NATO standards (STANAG-4193).
Electronic Protection and Cybersecurity
EIRS operates across a wide frequency band and incorporates electronic protection features, including sidelobe jamming and low sidelobe levels. Moreover, it is equipped with advanced cybersecurity measures.
Portability and Environmental Durability
EIRS can be transported with 10-ton class tactical wheeled vehicles and C130/A400M aircraft. It offers high reliability with a Mean Time Between Critical Failures (MTBCF) of 3000 hours and a 99.9% readiness rate. The system has a deployment and disassembly time of approximately 30 minutes and complies with MIL-STG-810G environmental conditions.
Integration and Compatibility
EIRS provides integration capabilities with control and reporting centers and NATO ACCS. Additionally, it is compatible with air and missile defense systems and tactical communication networks. These features demonstrate EIRS's ease of integration into existing defense infrastructures.
