At the 17th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), organized under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense and supported by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), Türkiye staged an impressive military parade at Atatürk Airport. With President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in attendance, the event marked a historic first in IDEF’s history, bringing together indigenous land, air, and naval platforms in a unified demonstration of technological capability.
The aerial showcase featured some of Türkiye’s most advanced systems: the HÜRJET and HÜRKUŞ aircraft, AKSUNGUR, Bayraktar AKINCI, TB2, TB3, KALKAN, and HAVELSAN BAHA UAVs, along with the GÖKBEY general-purpose helicopter, ATAK attack helicopter, and TUSAŞ T70 utility helicopter. Artillery systems like the GÜRHAN hybrid howitzer also took part, highlighting Türkiye’s integrated approach to mobility, protection, and firepower.
Naval assets showcased at Ataköy Marina added maritime strength to the demonstration. Among them were TCG Anadolu, TCG İstanbul, TCG Derya, TCG Sancaktar, TCG Ütğm. Arif Ekmekçi, and TCG Alemdar, representing Türkiye’s growing capabilities in amphibious operations, logistics, and surface warfare.
The event also featured cutting-edge missile and electronic systems from Roketsan and ASELSAN.
