BREAKING NEWS
One of Türkiye’s leading tactical wheeled armored vehicle manufacturers, Nurol Makina, has taken an important new step in Southeast Asia by signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Malaysia-based Nadicorp Holdings Sdn. Bhd. The agreement was concluded during Defence Services Asia (DSA) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur and is being described as a major turning point in the long-standing relationship between the two companies. The new framework reflects not only a business partnership, but also a broader industrial vision aimed at deeper localization and regional export growth.
Under the agreement, selected 4x4 armored vehicle platforms will be produced locally in Malaysia. The cooperation will also include technology transfer and the development of local industrial capabilities, while positioning Malaysia as an export hub for the wider Asian region. This approach aligns closely with Malaysia’s goal of strengthening its domestic defense industry and reducing external dependency. At the same time, it creates the basis for a more responsive and competitive supply model for the growing demand across the Asia-Pacific market.
The partnership is supported by previous deliveries and operational experience. According to the shared information, 20 Panthera 4x4 armored vehicles, the Malaysian designation for the EJDER YALÇIN 4x4, had already been delivered earlier under the cooperation framework. These vehicles are currently being used by Malaysian peacekeeping personnel serving under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon. Their active field use has helped demonstrate the platform’s reliability, performance, and mission capability while also contributing to the operational readiness of the Malaysian Armed Forces.
Nurol Makina’s combat-proven EJDER YALÇIN 4x4 and NMS 4x4 platforms are said to have been positioned in the Malaysian market through the partnership with Nadicorp and are considered among the strong candidates in important procurement programs. With their high protection, mobility, and flexible mission configurations, these vehicles reflect Nurol Makina’s broader approach to designing armored systems for a wide range of operational environments.
Both sides emphasized that the newly signed agreement represents more than a commercial arrangement. It is being presented as a long-term strategic partnership built on trust, shared vision, and mutual growth. Nurol Makina brings decades of engineering experience and a global footprint, with vehicles actively used in more than 20 countries, while Nadicorp contributes strong local presence and deep ties within the Malaysian defense ecosystem. If the cooperation advances as planned, this agreement could become one of the most important openings for Turkish armored vehicles in Asia.
